On 17 June, I was leaving for Shanghai for a training session. In terminal 1 after I cleared the immigration, I realised that my annual travel insurance has already expired. I was contemplating getting another travel insurance policy in the airport before my departure but somehow I was reluctant to fork out more than $300 this time round. I was literally walking up and down and around the money changer who also sells travel insurance.
I asked God should I get one and ask him for direction. The thought came to my mind and Lord speaks to me "I am your insurance. I am your Lord"
Thanks be to God for the safe and smooth trip.
Last year while I was on my way to Fiji Islands, I forgot to bring a book along to read. At the terminal before boarding, I was led to pick up a book by Joyce Meyer titled "How to hear from God". I finished reading the entire book during that one week trip. I have been trying to put into practice the teaching in the book. I now try to ask God in everything I do and in every decision I make big or small. Of course, I will still use discernment and let the Holy Spirit guide me, otherwise I would be like a mad man asking for God's approval in my daily chore. Imagine asking "God, should I go for lunch now?" "God should I go toilet now?" ...
